Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #138666

Hi there, seekers on the path to healing and well-being. As a depth psychotherapist in California with over ten years of experience in the field of psychology and the healing arts, I look forward to facilitating a wide range of therapeutic processes for you and with you.

After finishing my undergraduate studies in Colorado where I received a bachelor of arts & sciences in Psychology & Neuroscience, I moved to the Bay Area and began working with children diagnosed with attention deficits and autism. Over time, I became more interested in body-oriented approaches to healing and so trained as a trauma-informed yoga teacher and reiki practitioner where I worked with adults struggling with complex PTSD and anxiety & depression. The path eventually lead me to California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where I studied Integral Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Transpersonal Psychotherapy, graduating with a master’s degree in 2018.

With experience in the private practice sector for the last five years, my style has developed into it’s own unique form. Most would describe my approach as warm and compassionate, humanistic, holistic, body-oriented or somatic, emotionally focused, relational, and existential. I draw upon attachment theory, psycho-somatic modalities, emotionally focused therapy, hakomi depth immersion, and mindfulness & meditation to inform the therapeutic work. My intention is to help clients find the areas of the self that are desiring more attention, all from a place of empathy and understanding. In doing so, those parts have the opportunity to be more fully expressed. Through this process, we have the potential for growth and healing. From here we can blossom into the whole person we are meant to be.
